If I had a nickle for every time an author brought back one of my favorite book series with a spin off of the little blonde kid in the og series all grown up now and that has secretly set on their own journey to get their family to stop babying him and also happens to have an enemies to lovers phase with their love interest who is shown as this scary cruel woman that they find fascinating and are horrendously down bad for I'd have 2 nickles
Which isn't a lot but that's weirdly specific so it's weird that it happened twice
